The USFooty National title is up for grabs in Las Vegas on the weekend of October 7-8. The Golden Gate Australian Football League is, for the first time, sending two teams to Vegas to compete in Division 1 and Division 3.

August 5, 2006 - Hornets come close
For almost three quarters on Saturday San Jose belied the fact that they sat winless on the bottom of the GGAFL ladder. They played hard, committed football and took the game up to Marin with the lead swapping many times, and never more than a few points separating the teams.

July 22, 2006 - Nothern Nuggets vs Southern Comforts
Many games of Australian football have been played in cold, biting rain, some in hail, and even a few in snow, but very few regular season games are played with the mercury topping 116F. That was the case this week when the GGAFL played the KTVU All Star game, with the Northern Nuggets taking on the Southern Comforts.

July 8, 2006 - Tribunal Results
During the San Francisco vs San Jose game on 7/8/2006 there was an incident that required a tribunal to be convened after the game. William Etzler was charged with conduct detrimental to the spirit of the GGAFL, and football in general.

Another beautiful day in Palo Alto saw the much improved San Francisco Knights take on a depleted Oakland Pirates squad. After last weeks draw, Bryn's men came out determined to stake their claim as the favorite to win this years premiership. And they might have done just that.

Not too many teams would expect players selected in a representative game, where they are pitted against team-mates and friends, to give their all.

Nowhere is this rivalry more evident than on the sporting field.
