In a game that was closer than the scores suggest the Oakland Pirates prevailed by 29 points to become GGAFL Premiers for 2010.

Chris Johnson (5 goals) and Luke Quirk (4 goals) were the primary scorers for the Oakland Pirates while Marin Mavericks had many goal scorers including AJ Cecchettini (2), Chris Weaver(1), Jon Palmer (1), Mike Lancaster (1), Nick Holsman (1), Adrian Al-Samarrie (1) and Aaron Bradley (1).

In the post match awards Kyle Johnson was voted Grand Final MVP.
