Player's, Coach's, Umpire's and Spectator's Codes
of Conduct.
PLAYERS CODE OF CONDUCT
- Behave in a responsible manner at all times, on and of the field.
- Respect yourself as you respect others.
- Play by the rules and at all times ensure the game of football is
not bought into disrepute.
- Do not dispute/discuss decisions made by umpires. Take the matter
up with your coach or through appropriate channels.
- Do not swear or abuse other players, umpires or officials.
- Enjoy the game and the company of teammates and opponents.
- Remember that you are an ambassador of your club, the GGAFL and
football.
COACHES CODE OF CONDUCT
- Behave in a responsible manner at all times, on and off the
field.
- Respect yourself as you respect others.
- Ensure that the rules are adhered to in the spirit of good
sportsmanship.
- Act as a role model for players and other club members.
- Do not swear, abuse or argue with players, umpires or officials
- Enjoy the game yourself and encourage others to do the same.
- Remember that you are an ambassador of your club, the GGAFL and
football.
UMPIRES CODE OF CONDUCT
- Behave in a responsible and professional manner at all times, on and
off the field.
- Present yourself in neat attire at matches, tribunal hearings and
occasions where you will be seen as a representative of the GGAFL
umpires panel.
- Treat all players and officials with the same respect as you expect
for yourself.
SPECTATORS CODE OF CONDUCT
- Respect others as you respect yourself.
- Respect other cultures and beliefs.
- Demonstrate appropriate social behaviour by not swearing, using
foul language or harassing players, coaches, officials or other
spectators.
- Condemn the use of violence on and off the field.
- Enjoy the game and encourage others to do the same.
