Bryan Dragus in Action in the GGAFL 2009

It is with much pleasure that the Golden Gate Australian Football League (GGAFL) can announce that our American player, Bryan Dragus will be leaving the GGAFL to play a footy season in Queensland, Australia.......he will be missed, but this is a GREAT opportunity for Bryan and the GGAFL. Bryan, in his first year playing the game, won the GGAFL Best and Fairest, Marin's Best, was BOG against San Diego and had a real crack at the Nationals, lining up against the opposition best player more times than not. Bryan will be trying out for the Western Magpies in the QAFL, the highest league in Queensland, and in the top 5 in the Country. Also in the QAFL is the Brisbane Lions reserves team, and such is the calibre of teams in the QAFL, like Morningside, Southport and Mt. Gravatt, the Lions reserves teams have only won one premiership in their time in the league, so he really has his work cut out for him to make it at this level, but we know he will give it a real red hot go.
It has been decided to hold the "Kick Dragus to Australia" party in Monterrey at the GGAFL sponsored bar the Britannia Arms Pub in Monterrey. It will be a great day of celebration!! The party kicks off at 11am at the pub and goes till whenever. The Party will be held on Sunday so we can watch the two Football games and have a blast.

Raffle will be drawn at half time of the 2nd game
Football, Raffle, Drinking, Loudness, Making fun of Dragus etc
There will be a great raffle with prizes from the Britannia Arms Pub, Carmel Wine and Cheese Shop, Gallo Wines, Southern Wines and MonterreySingles.com If anyone else has anything they want to donate for prizes please let me know!!
